The Nissan Silvia S15 uses a 5x114.3 stud pattern, and the most popular setup on our customers' S15s is an 18x9.5 +22 wheel all round, such as the SpeedWorks SW12. If you want a milder, daily-friendly fit, 18x8.5 +35 (SW15) is also proven on a customer's S15, and a staggered 18x8.5 +35 front / 18x9.5 +25 rear (SW06) sits in between. Every setup below is a real customer car from our gallery, not a guess.
S15 wheel specs at a glance
- Stud pattern (PCD): 5x114.3
- Hub centre bore: 66.1 mm
- SpeedWorks SW centre bore: 73.1 mm, so a 73.1 to 66.1 mm hub-centric ring takes up the gap
- Proven sizes on customer S15s: 18x8.5 +35, 18x9.5 +22, staggered 18x8.5 +35 / 18x9.5 +25
For factory wheel sizes and tyre sizes, check your tyre placard or the wheels currently on the car, since S15s in Australia have often had their wheels changed more than once.

Which S15 setup should you choose?
18x9.5 +22: the most common S15 fit
Three customer S15s run the SW12 in 18x9.5 +22. It is a 10-spoke cast wheel and is the setup most people picture when they think of a modified S15. The 5x114.3 18x9.5 +22 comes in Gloss White & Machine Lip and Hyper Black & Machine Lip, from $250 per wheel.
Other 18x9.5 +22 wheels in 5x114.3 with the same size and offset as these builds include the SW10 (Hyper Silver), SW14 (Matte Gunmetal), SW15 (Hyper Black), SW17 (retro deep lip) and SW18 (Bronze mesh). The size and offset match what our customers run, but as with any wheel, check guard and brake clearance on your own car.
An 18x9.5 +22 sits further out than a narrower, higher-offset wheel, so depending on ride height, tyre choice and guards it may need guard work or a lowered ride height. Every car is different; ask us with your current setup and we will talk it through.
18x8.5 +35: the easy daily option
A customer's S15 runs the SW15 in 18x8.5 +35, a flow-formed 6-spoke in Hyper Black, from $250 per wheel. This is the lower-stress choice if the car is mostly a daily or you want to stay away from guard work. The same 5x114.3 18x8.5 +35 size is also available in SW06, SW14 and SW05.
Staggered 18x8.5 +35 / 18x9.5 +25
The SW06 staggered setup on a customer's S15 puts the narrower wheel up front and the wider one at the rear. It fills the rear guard more than an 8.5 square setup while keeping the front tame. SW06 is cast, Gloss Black & Machine Lip, from $225 per wheel. Keep in mind a staggered setup means you cannot rotate tyres front to rear.
How much further out does 9.5 +22 sit?
Comparing rim widths and offsets on paper (rim edge only, tyres not included):
- 18x9.5 +22 sits about 26 mm further out at the face than 18x8.5 +35, with almost the same inner clearance (within about 0.3 mm).
- 18x9.5 +25 sits about 23 mm further out than 18x8.5 +35, and about 3 mm further in than 18x9.5 +22.
Use our wheel offset calculator to compare your current wheels with any of these sizes.
Hub-centric rings for the S15
All SpeedWorks passenger wheels have a 73.1 mm centre bore. On an S15 you want a 73.1 to 66.1 mm hub-centric ring, available in alloy or plastic. If you are unsure, choose the "Pick for me" option and we will match it to your car.
